Christine Bode has always loved music, books and pop culture. After graduating from Television Broadcasting in 1984, she wanted to work in the entertainment industry and was briefly employed by YTV Canada. Years later, she worked for Canada’s leading entertainment lawyer as an administrative assistant and also experienced a brief stint as a theatre producer. Christine has spent many years promoting actors, authors and musicians through her review writing.
She contributed CD & concert reviews and Actor’s Spotlight features to PartyinKingston.com from April 2005 to August 2009 and currently contributes book, CD, DVD and live performance reviews to her own blog as well as:
• Jill Crossland’s TimeFinders Magazine – Women Writing for Women in her Christine Reviews column
• Press +1, Canada’s largest independent online entertainment magazine. Press +1 receives three million unique readers monthly and covers arts and entertainment across Canada.
In 2008, after a fatefully positive online meeting with Paige O’Neill and Anna Pasternak about promoting Anna’s chick lit novel Daisy Dooley Does Divorce on Facebook, Christine fell, like Alice through the rabbit hole, into the business of internet promotion using the major social networking websites and is now the owner and operator of Scully Love Promo, a Social Media Management and Internet Promotion business for authors, musicians, and local businesses.
Christine helps authors and musicians to create and maintain their online presence on the top rated social networking sites in order to promote their talent and expand their fan base. She works only with first class talent and stands behind her belief in her clients, 100%. You’ll be hard pressed to find someone who will be more efficient or passionate about helping you and your work get noticed!

Christine is also a self-published author of a collection of poetry called Eden Refugee. EDEN REFUGEE viscerally reflects the experiences of a young woman consumed by sex, drugs, rock’n’roll, unrequited love and a constant quest for spiritual enlightenment.
Christine resides in Kingston, Ontario with her female Goldendoodle, Scully, and fancy rat, Dublin. She surrounds herself with books & music and enjoys a night life of concerts, theatre and movies.
“Integrity and honesty in human beings means more to me than anything else. Without integrity, we are lost.” – Christine Bode
