Just an indie music geek. Or is that indie music snob? Either way, just say no to flannel shirts.
My playlist is over 540 songs (and growing)! To look at it another way, that's almost 30 hours of non-stop toe tapping head bopping indie music. Hit the play button, click the randomize and put a pot of coffee on, you're going to need it.
Does anyone know whatever happened to 10 Days Late? They were a great rockin' band from BC (Vancouver?) and then oneday they just vanished without a trace. Hard to get any info on them. Anyone know? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
My new years resolution is to learn to play Davita G's Sleep Is Nothing and the Forest City Lovers Lost Parts on guitar. Still just plucking and buzzing my way to competance but it's slowly getting there. If I was to form a band we would sound very much like Electrelane. It's just sooooo goooood!
Currently my two fave songs on CBC3 are Unreunion and Sincerely by Portico. Lyrics hit closer to home than I would care to admit too.
Finally, is it just me or is Minx from the Weirdies the absolute hottest female in Canadian music right now or what? Hotness!
