Another month means new host and sound guy so it's the luck of the draw, I showed at 9:30pm and landed last. On the up side he started at 9:45pm. His name is "Southside Jimmy Byron" originally from Chicago now resident of T.O. as he fell in love with a Canadian girl, that's sweet isn't it? Anyway I hate waiting all night, as I do not know how to occupy my brain. Outside there is this man that in my opinion scares people, as he is a resident of the universe and also tends to drool when he talks. This was also the night to avoid conversation with me, as I know I had a wicked look in my eyes. It was interesting a few girls showed up I have never seen before, one had just been on a reality T.V. show, and the other played piano. I saw them outside they are so cool they blow my mind!!!! You see I am not a "Pop Tart" a term I heard in high school, these girls could be however. What makes me laugh is one sung and played piano well, however honestly I'm just as good so why the attitude? In fact it cracks me up, as I would never compete with them, as not just their music, but their clothes and style are so different than mine. I also ventured down the street to "Wag My Dog" as former hostess Jessica Stuart is working there now, and I had time on my hands. Small world the girl that wanted to tune my guitar, and never I got to see, was playing there. I still do not know how long she has been playing guitar, but I must admit she did an original song. Again different style, but more hip than the girls I met outside. I must admit I'm unique, as I am a power chord specialist who likes to play catchy hooks and prefers rhythm to lead guitar as the point of focus.

Songs:

Hey Hey Feeling Fine:

Jimmy got it right, it never occurred to me, but the sound guy tunes the guitar. You see the way I see it, cause music genre varies, and his from mine, as I watched him play, that his style is Latin and melodic. When I play at home, I love flange and a heavy electric feel this song however is a ballad so I wanted it to sound pure.  Jimmy tells good jokes and in the background I faked hanging myself with a patch chord. I told the crowd I had to play it, as it is my new single out on iTunes!!!!

Should Have Seen Her Saturday:

I introduced the song and advised the audience that my songs had a theme of promiscuity tonight. One guy in the audience said he would drink more then, come on what more can I say!!!!

After Show:

Outside a couple of little girls smiled at me, one even sung part of my song. To critics the only reason I put up with bullshit, cause if your half decent people will always ride you. That is why I care about the audience not the other musicians, as everyone is looking for that lucky break, and sometimes it makes people ugly!!!!
