I have a new album coming out

Hello radio 3 nation! I have a new album coming out on June 7th (May 31 on itunes!). It's self-titled. I recorded it all by myself this past winter at home in my basement studio. I played all the instruments. It's got a bit of a different sound from my other records that I hope you will dig. I've posted a couple of new tracks on my band page. I'll be playing a bunch of shows in June with the very-talented Oh Susanna. I can't wait! Yours, Matthew

Hello again!

Hi Radio 3/NMC peeps,

I'm finally updating my page again and am even trying to be on top of tour dates this time around!  There are a few songs from the latest album True Believer at the top of the music page.

Thanks for all the support you showed my last record Ghost Notes.  Lots of people have told me they heard my music through radio 3 which is fantastic.  Happy daylight savings,

Ghost Notes

Hello,

It's nice to back in the New Music Canada neck of the cyber woods.  It looks better than the last time I was bouncing around in here.  New Music Canada started right around the same time that I started making a go of it as an indie artist, and it was one of the first modes of musical dissemination that I used.  I've since been a lazy friend, only stopping back once in a (very long) while.  But I'm still going, and it's great to see NMC is still going too.

I have a brand new album coming out on Outside March 4th.  It's called GHOST NOTES.  I'm excited to be posting some tracks from this new album here at NMC, and re-connecting with the all-powerful Canadian indie-music infrastructure.  I dipped my feet in the seductive major-label pool for a few years and it was a great place to visit, but my visa ran out and now I'm coming home.  I hope to see you on the road in '08!  Happy New Year.
