This is a bootleg recording skanked off a video cam ...live @ the RED ROCK, California. Harper John on Spanish guitar, vocals , harp, and clatter ....AND...special guest, "Kenny", saxing for all he is worth. PS. Kenny escaped to Australia and Harper to Canada shortly after this improv "on the fly" performance. Foot-tapper notes: Was the cell referred to in this song that of Alvin "Creepy" Karpis, the last "Public Enemy Number 1", whose stay at Alcatraz was the longest of any inmate? Later in life this Montreal native was to teach Charles Manson to play guitar . . . . Ah, how sweet of him! Stop Press: Charlie just released? Yes it's true ....well, that album at least, for "The Summer of Hate - the '67 Sessions" is fresh out and shooting up again.
