Formed in feb of 05 , The pinx have been playing and recording their meditations for all the world to hear. The first lp was released on Notnotfun records in June of 06 in a ltd hand done ed. of 150. The reissue will be out in Jan 07 on Gilgongo records in cd format. The pinx in the meantime have released 25 or so other releases including the introduction the past summer of the split tape series on isolated now waves which pairs the pinx up with like minded bands/individuals from all over the world. A 7" ep on DNT records and numurous cdr's documenting their tortured adolenscence.
The pinx entered the studio again in feb 07 to record their 2nd full length which was released on Isolated Now Waves records. since then they have had scores of 7"'s , cassettes and cdr's out on labels from all over the globe such as arbor , critiscum , divorce , scotch tapes , night people , family time , reluctant , geographing , broadway to boundary , bruised tongue , deathbomb arc // the 3rd lp Weaponry was released by halifax's Divorce records in late 2009 . part one of a two part album (night danger being the 2nd title TBR in early 2011 ) both titles feature artwork by none other than canadian treasure rick white of eric's trip / elevator fame // at the end of 2009 they lost 2nd gtr player erin and continued for a year as a duo , writing and recording the most recent lp Void White which was self released on INW alt …

After extensive touring for Void White they returned home to add new guitar player but old comrade Jesse T. to the fold , now back as a three piece thee pinx continue the unfolding of psychedelic now waves to inspire and free imprisoned minds the world over . Fall 2010 through winter/spring 2011 will be spent writing and rehearsing new material . the first track featuring Jesse in the group will be released on Mammoth Cave Recordings from Lethbridge on the Bloodstains across B.C. compilation in the winter 2011 , followed by a spring fling w/ AHNA across Canada
