Will Currie & The Country French is a six-piece piano beat group from Waterloo, Ontario. Their refreshing blend of indie rock and retro pop has earned them a reputation as one of the hottest new Canadian acts on the scene. The band’s heavy bass lines and danceable drum beats are held together by rhythmic piano and ripping guitar to support Currie’s infectious melodies. In 2008, the band was signed to Sloan’s Murderecords and released their debut EP "A Great Stage" across Canada in April of that year.
