The City Above began to be constructed when two formerly estranged, childhood friends reunited and overcame the initial awkwardness by getting back to what had made them close to begin with: writing songs. A few months and 16 new songs later they decided to call this thing Mongrel Comets and that it could be released. Now a full five-piece, The City Above have begun playing live shows in Ottawa.
