The Alder Fork

Limehouse, ON

The Alder Fork was born out of the spare time of Peter Snow, formerly of Pinstripe Mystery. Although a native of southern Ontario, The Alder Fork's music is influenced by Peter's experiences around this province and the world. The Limehouse, Ontario group's first album, The Lights I See You In Shadow, was made up of leftover songs and new ideas, originally came out in November 2008.    The second album, The Colour I Remember Most, appeared in 2009. 2010's Myths of a Glowing City captured the band at the Registry Theatre in Kitchener, Ontario. 2011 will bring both Tracts and The Long Spoons two distinct EP's.

The Alder Fork's music is describable, but the group's just not very good at it.  Like any good recipe they blend a number of ingredients, rock, electronic, folk, pop, and whatever is in the cupboard to make songs you might like.
