The Alder Fork was born out of the spare time of Peter Snow, formerly of Pinstripe Mystery. The Hamilton, Ontario group's first album, The Lights I See You In Shadow, was made up of leftover songs and new ideas, originally cam out in November 2008 and has just been re-released. Although a native of southern Ontario, The Alder Fork's music is influenced by Peter's experiences around this province and the world. The second album, The Colour I Remember Most, appeared in 2009. Most recently the group is putting forth Myths of a Glowing City a rough live recording from the Registry Theatre in Kitchener, Ontario. The Alder Fork's music is describable, but the group's just not very good at it. Like any good recipe they blend a number of ingredients, rock, electronic, folk, pop, and whatever is in the cupboard to make songs you might like.
