Hailing from Prince George, British Columbia, Transparencies represent the rapidly blossoming realization of guitarist-singer-songwriter Jeremy Stewart's vision of an unaffected, unadorned garage rock with a unique and incisive poetic sensibility. Together with fellow scene veterans Ken Goudswaard (on bass) and ryan h. wugalter (on drums), Peter Stevenson (on keys), and Erin Arding (on harmony vocals), Stewart is naming the anxiety and loneliness of life on the periphery, while never quite losing sight of the intense beauty that can glimpsed amongst industrial ruin and emptiness.
