The Grey Haze Reception is an improvisational, noisy jazz / rock fusion band from Prince george, BC. Members Peter Stevenson (keys), Erin Arding (bass, keys, guitar, vocals), ryan h. wugalter (drums), and Jeremy Stewart (guitar, vocals) rehearse in the frigid garage of Stevenson's parents' house. They have played three concerts since forming in September 2003: a Buy Nothing Day performance at the University of Northern British Columbia, a showcase set in the Artspace Lower Gallery, and an cassette deck performance at the Weldwood Theatre. The Grey Haze Reception (note Canadian spelling of "Grey") released a self-produced album in April 2004.
