THE AUTOMATIX

It all began at the start of 2007 when Smart Attack , J Rocker and Franky Bones Got together in a Garage and decided to jam some covers for fun of bands they liked such as " the Buzzcocks , Stiff little fingers, 999 , The Damned etc.... At that time they had Bones on drums, Attack on Bass and Rocker on the Guitar and Vox... It was recorded on a dusty old cassette tape that got lost somehow and after that jam we didn’t see each other for a while, Rocker and Attack had decided on the name and around the same time Rocker respectively wrote the song "Sex,drugs and Rock n Roll" ! but time passed , some drugs and bad decisions happened and moving had separated us all ! Bones and Attack were in Montreal bored outta their minds and Rocker was stuck alone in a small working class community on the east coast of Canada. Shortly after Rocker began going crazy ..." I was young, alone, sniffing glue, playing guitar and writing raw, pissed off punk rock lyrics. I began recording songs on an 8 track recorder and was shipping those songs to Attack and Bones"... The Automatix was in the making and songs like: "Sounds of 77”, "Scene belongs to us" and "City Terror" were born. After some quick planning, Rocker showed back up in Montreal more ready than ever! The Guys got in Contact with a Drummer by the name of Johnny Damage from Quebec City and within a week they had the 1st Jam with all the members in the Basement of the "Loud H …

By the time they had the fifth Jam it was Time to Play their 1st Show , They Opened for "Sub-hum-ans UK" at the Foufounes Electric in Montreal it was tight and The Automatix were Clearly ready for more !... Over the next few months many shows followed in the Downtown Montreal Area attracting more and more punk rockers each time , by the summer Franky Bones a.k.a (Frank) released The Automatix on PUNK MANIA RECORDS and they put out the first 500 - 5 song Demos titled "77 in 07". With Momentum building The Automatix then embarked on a month long cross Canada tour with the legendary "Vibrators" from the UK. Armed with punk 77 ideals , black leather jackets and guitars The Automatix delivered great , consistent punk rock shows across Canada along side The Vibrators... The Tour was a Success and the Automatix are currently in Montreal writing new songs and looking forward to delivering more hard hitting punk fucking rock n roll … The Automatix hope to put out a full length album in the near future and also tour Europe and Asia.
