Slow down, Molasses

Saskatoon, SK

Slow Down, Molasses is a sprawling indie rock collective from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The band brings together a uncountable cast of musicians from across Canada to create their own unique wall-of-sound. Songs that began as sparse, dustcovered arrangements, have developed into full-fledged, lush indie-folk anthems filled with strings, horns and layers of feedback drenched guitars and sweet vocal harmonies. With so many members on stage, the band doesn’t hesitate to incorporate new and sometimes unconventional instrumentation; from toy pianos to typewriters, you never know what you will find.

Slow Down, Molasses have released an E.P. and two full length albums. Thier latest "Walk Into The Sea" has recieved critical praise from around the world. they have toured canada 3 times and are currently on their way to the UK.

They love the CBC.
