Shades of Culture

Shades have been a mainstay on the Canadian hip-hop scene for 10 years.Tours with the Herbaliser, Bad Brains and Ten Foot Pole and shows with everyone from KRS to Common, Pharcyde to Onyx have helped build a strong fan base across the country. The bands debut album Mindstate in 1998 was followed by a compilation of early demos called "...A Little Bit About Us" (Union 2112/Stomp). Shades are presently in the studio working on a new release for early 2003.
