Scott Cameron Smith

Dundas, ON

This past October 2001, he and David Bradstreet co-produced Tears of a Thousand Years, a compilation CD of Canadian Folk Artists to assist with relief funds after the September 11th tragedy in the USA. His song, If it’s A Long Way Home was chosen as one of the tracks. He has appeared at local folk clubs, community events and music festivals from the 80’s to the present and has shared the stage with such folk music notables as Valdy, David Bradstreet, Brent Titcomb, Lenny Gallant, John Gracie, Mose Scarlett, Jackie Washington, Eileen McGann, Tanglefoot, and a myriad of international artists. Scott is touring again full-time with Ariel Rogers and David Rogers who form the core of his vocal and acoustic group. Audiences have been captivated by the outstanding harmonies of this trio. This past summer he had a very successful tour of East Coast Canada. Most recently he was featured as one of the official showcases at the North East Folk Alliance Conference in Pennsylvania.
