Sara Marlowe

Toronto, ON

True stories, the 3rd studio release from Sara Marlowe, is a blend of roots, folk/rock, jazz and social justice.  A review of the CD Release party reads, “Sara's arrangements, which feature cello, flute and mandolin, give the songs a texture and depth that is simply beautiful.” – Laura K. (We Move to Canada blog)

Accomplished musicians add lush instrumentation to the intimate vocals and compelling lyrics -- Mike Skinner (Downchild Blues Band) on saxophone, Jamie Thompson on flute, Alex McMaster (Lowest of the Low) on cello, Sarah Sugarman on violin and percussion, Steve Sherman on electric guitars and percussion and David McMillan on mandolin and bass.
