Jzero Schuurman aka Psychic Pollution was an active member of Calgary music scene for many years. As a multi-instrumentalist Jzero had been able to lend his talents too many exciting projects. Drums being his initial passion he has so far performed with Jane Vain and the Dark Matter, Brittle siren and Gutterawl. Jzero has also made a name for himself as an exceptional back up musician playing guitar and keyboards for various projects including Lucid 44, Grandfather Fire and the Holy Morning, and The Lonely Hunters. Now a resident of Victoria BC, Jzero continually performs, writes and records making a name for himself on the West Coast.
His first LP was released in August 08, containing 13 tracks compiling many recordings from past too present.
Psychic Pollution's music is dark and mysterious. Using story telling and sonic ambience to take the listener to mysterious places using swelling guitars, random sampling, and subtle drums.
