Featuring ex-memebers of PERFECTLY NORMAL from the Toronto area, Kenny
Bridges, Mark Bowser, Peter Krpan and Chris Hughes joined together in late spring of 1999 to form .moneen. Later on Mark moved onto synthesizing Mexican children out of
raw DNA. Thus moved in Chris Slorach to take his place. Chris has since moved on to play with Abandoned Hearts Club, allowing Erik Hughes to come in and become part of the Moneen family.
Playing what they like to call "the collaboration of melodic influence", they conduct their own experiments into the world of aggressive melodic pop. They are known for their insane live show, and in the past few years they have been across North America numerous times playing with bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Eric's Trip, Alkaline Trio, Face to Face, Brand New and Taking Back Sunday.
2003 will see them release their second full length through Smallman Records in Canada.
