Misty Lee Olsen is a singer/songwriter from Barrie, Ontario who is attracting attention from both sides of the border. She has been immersed in country music from a very young age and inherited her talent from her mother Sandra who is a talented singer in her own right. Her unique, delightful clear country voice is her true instrument and features a wonderful vibrato that reminds you of a young Dolly Parton with shades of Stevie Nicks. In addition Misty has a great natural talent as a lyricist and melody writer. After playing at various family functions and local small venues (including making the 2004 regional finals of Nashville Star), in 2006 Misty teamed up with motivated management and began to assemble a team and a plan.

In March 2007, Misty's management was approached by 3 time CCMA producer of the year and ASCAP award winning songwriter Joel Feeney ("Nothin bout love makes sense", LeAnn Rimes) to produce her debut CD. Shortly thereafter a deal was struck and not long after that, Royalty Records of Alberta stepped in with a marketing and distribution deal for the records release later this year.
