McMonty is Luigi Monteferrante, a Canadian poet and composer from Montreal.
On completion of his second novel, a labor of ten years, in Fall 2007, the morph to poetry & song with poems published, or forthcoming, in the following literary magazines:

Originally from Montreal, Canada, Luigi has recently completed third novel set in Italy and New York City.
Snake Crossing is McMonty's debut album; to-be-released this summer, their second album.
Luigi is also writing and composing for the electro-acoustic ensemble known as Gang of Tolstoy. GT has just released three new albums: No Place Like Happy, Urban Space, Viola by the Window and a new Sounds Like Summer Series which can be heard at: www.myspace.com/gangoftolstoy.
