Drawing on artists such as Steve Earle, Hank Williams, Corb Lund, and Ben Kweller the boys in Massey & the Fergusons bring together musicians and songwriters of very diverse backgrounds (with genres ranging from funk, to blues, to classical, to punk) and form a cohesive unit that not only writes some of the saddest country, and most driving rock songs, but also delivers one of the most energetic and enjoyable performances one will have the privilege of seeing.

Without the country instruments, a country band is just another boring middle of the road rock band, so Jody Geisbrecht (pedal steel/harmonica/vocals), and Darcy Burback (fiddle/mandolin/vocals) take the band to the next level with their spin on these classic music making machines.
