© i yam & © A Truckman's Son span 200 years of her Family's history; from Virginia slaves to the Great George Dixon, to her PrizeFighter Father that died tragically while fighting for his land, to her own phenomenal personal journey home to her Black, (African) and Indigenous, (M'ik M'aq Indian), roots.
Mj keeps her ancestor's & neighbor's struggles, accomplishments & memories alive with songs that reflect, inspire, teach and honour.
Mj also creates the experiences new & aspiring Musicians need to hone their performance skills and image.
