Matt Osborne passed away in his sleep on the morning of Friday April 23, 2004 at the home of his mother.
All of us who were friends and fans of Matt join in mourning the loss of a fantastic musician and an equally fantastic human being. Matt is survived by his mother Gloria and his father Donald, and our hearts also go out to them.
Matt released 3 albums between 1994 and 2002, while appearing on numerous compilations (and 1 soundtrack). He toured throughout Ontario and as far beyond as Nashville, Tennessee, bringing the dark arts of soulfolkbluesrhythm to the enlightened masses.
Matt was completing a new album at the time of his passing, and we hope to present some of this material here in the future.
