Live Country Music was formed in 2004. They have recorded two albums of original music whose foundation is traditional country music but goes further than that, exploring other genres. The band's unique sound is rooted in the interplay of Doug Paisley's thrilling guitar work and Chuck Erlichman's raucous keyboard playing. The rhythm section of Matt Barber on drums and Paul Matthew on bass anchors the music with the shuffles and grooves needed to flesh out the songs. Add to this the band's soaring harmonies, and the result is a musical force that deviates from purist tradition while being deeply appreciative of it and indebted to it on an almost spiritual level. Fans have come to expect a rollicking good time at LCM shows where people tend to lose their big-city inhibitions and dance into the wee hours of the morning. PEACE!
