Kevin Long is an independent singer / songwriter who combines the warmth of acoustic guitar with an honest and emotional vocal palette.
Kevin's subject matter is often deeply personal, with lyrics that deal with life and love, hope and failure, regret and redemption.
Since he began playing music, Kevin's influences have included Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Jose Gonzalez, and Steven Wilson of the band Porcupine Tree.
In 2007, after years of playing cover songs and jamming with various musicians, Kevin was encourage to write and sing his own music. In doing so, he has grown more in tune with himself and his guitar, resulting in a wealth of songs ranging from folk to country to blues and beyond.
