'Intergalactic Virgin' www.intergalacticvirgin.com
Formed in 2004, Regina, SK. Originaly with 5 members and a different band name. I.V. quickly turned to a 3-piece band. The original focus was dance music but with a folk/rock edge. With our love for the eperimental arts and a huge connection with dance tunes (our collection of personal music) we became the hard hitting psychedeclic big-beat tunes we hear today.
From 2005- 2007 we jammed/practiced at the Montague St Studio. 'It All Goes Down On Montague' (our first full length) was named after the studio. Editing, practicing, reworking and adding to our strong 15 song line up, we soon found ourselves with over 50 songs.
Costumes and visual art became and instant part of the live show. Intergalactic Virgin is animated, vibrant, unique and full of surprises.
In 2008 we moved to our next studio and continued to bring 'live' the dance electronic experimental music scene in the Canadian Prairies. Connection to the audience is very important, the more the crowd yells, screams, jams along, dances, arrives in costumes: the extra boost of I.V's galactic powers shine. In 2009 we moved to our a short lived studio: 7th Ave Jam Spot. I.V. now has a new member Steve McDonnell (from Regina based band CoelacanthDance), he joins on electric bass. We have just arrived at our newest studio 'College Ave. Sound Cave' …

We have just arrived at our newest studio 'College Ave. Sound Cave' (record, jam, practice, create). Then cause we can't stop continuing our narrative/story we add Kieran LeMoal as the 4th member.
We have 5 full length albums and a live recording (Cathedral Village Arts Festival 2008) and a Demo Ep. 29 music videos have been released along side various live footage (youtube, facebook, google video ect). Featured (2008) on the cover of Regina independant newspaper (Prairie Dog...brother of Planet S in Saskatoon) we where the fist local electronic band to ever grace the cover. In summer of 2010 we played the for the pre-show entertainment at 'Symphony Under The Sky' hosted by the Regina Smphony Orchestra and was published in the Regina Leader Post.
Thus far we have played over 400 live shows of all types, and all of the recordings are created and produced by the band. Which includes posters/buisiness card/film editing/ads and promotion/online cyber communications.
Somethings are just to special to leave in the studio!
