HI! Thanks for checking out our group, High Life Scenery. We are a pop punk/alternative five piece Burnaby-based band from Moscrop and Byrne Creek Secondary schools. Our music mix consists of a variety of tunes to explode your earbuds. Don't get us wrong by our innocent looks because we always like to add some edge to our pop-punk inspired songs. The following describes the essence of each player in our cast:
Filipino Mike (Rhythm Guitar) - The one with the accent and definitely the most lovable of the group.
Geoffrey Millar (Vocals) - Ginge, chicken legs, melodies/lyrics, hardcore rap, gig finder, and overall band organizer.
Julian Barrientos (Drums) - Always doing something crazy and funny, composes most of his drum parts, the Outsider from Byrne Creek
Braedon Lim (Lead Guitar) - Resident music head, the only one that can grow a beard, most involved in instrument composition, some melodies/lyrics, classic rock
Mitchell Chan (Keys/Bass) - Sexiest member, Christian, go-to guy for anything technical with sound/video, likes building or fixing things. This man is THE man of all time.
That is us. We have been "serious" as a band for over a year now with 7 songs written and a quite a number of LIVE shows under our belt. We perform at least once every month at different locations in the Lower Mainland.
