Mississauga can be a lonely place when your idols are foreign language cartoon characters. Here the kids, Alex P. and Daniel Z. found themselves, unable to live their dreams at local malls. There is some force that draws kids like these into bands, and it works in strange ways. Nonetheless, on two chords and good intentions, a new band was formed to chase that rainbow.
Selling tapes to jaded kids can get you down. Alex and Daniel had reached an impasse with rock band life. They broke up the band, going down the path where few tread without coming out cliché, sampling. The appeal of more sounds and more control was too great. They spent months wrestling with software, records of children’s songs & 80s synth pop. And soon the life came back to the music.
As the band is evolving into a 'youth orchestra', the boys constantly search for whimsical teens to sing to the tune of melancholy xylophones & drum machines & enthusiastic synthesizers.
