Elk is a garage-rock band that is from both Toronto and the Niagara region. Elk released a full length album which was self released and self titled in early 2010. The album generated buzz, causing the band to immediatly return to the studio. The studio chosen was a cottage on Balm Beach located in the Township of Tiny. The album was recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced by drummer/vocalist Josh Korody. Out of the many songs recorded, four were selected to be released on a 7 inch.
