IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BONE!
No one wants to play trombone in Grade 6 band class. You're the kid they get to when all of the saxomophones have been given out, or the stinky kid that no one wants to sit next to. Fortunately, the T-Bone and I got along, and the stinky kid quit band class.
My manifesto is to get the 'bone out of "jazz" stereotypes and to get it out "there." So what do I do? I play jazz... and I play ska.... and a little old soul... and I do a lousy job of breaking the horn stereotypes. At least I get it out there!
The forthwith musical endeavours often as not include trombonification.
