For the short time that David Francey has had musical presence in the international folk scene, he has made an extraordinary impression on media and his peers, catching the eye of music icons such as James Keelaghan, Steve Earle, Kieran Kane and Del McCoury (who covered Francey’s song Milltowns on his new release, It’s Just The Night). His previous release ‘Far End of Summer’ garnered rave reviews from Canadian and US media and won David his first ever Juno Award for Best Roots/Traditional Album. In March, Francey released his most-anticipated release, Skating Rink.
