Not satisfied to do things in a conventional manner, the Vancouver based band had a top 5 hit, Mexican Cockfight, before playing their first original gig. The song made it to No.4 on the Furious Five at Five (99.3 The Fox)
and spent a week and a half on the charts. Mexican Cockfight was then
added to the 2002 Seeds CD as the “secret hidden track.” The song has
also been successful on the college scene as it was on the CiTR
indie charts for over 3 months. Mexican Cockfight has received airplay
coast to coast in Canada (became the no.1 overall most requested song
at Power 104 in Kelowna) and made waves in the underground DJ circuit in Cancun, Mexico. Recently the band signed a promotional deal with Budweiser to be a part of their True Music campaign and has shared the stage with acts such as ZZ Top, Cheap Trick, Gob, Swollen Members, Lou Gramm & Bif Naked. The band has just finished recording their debut full length album with producer Todd Kerns and is set to release it in early 2007.
