Cmdr. Resonant Frequency is an experimental music collective from Nova Scotia, Canada. Core members Travis Jardine and Mark Macdonald founded the group in 2001, and have collaborated with numerous others in the years since.
The group's first album, "The Best of Cmdr. Resonant Frequency & Friends", was released in 2002. It encompassed several years of work, from the group's earliest MIDI compositions to later experiments in FM synthesis and waveform manipulation. A period of touring followed.
Cmdr. Resonant Frequency's second album, "El Juego Mortal", was released in 2005. The group enjoys performing live on rare occasions, and is currently working on a third LP.
