Toronto's Blurtonia represent a who’s who in the Canadian music industry. You could connect the members all the way to The
Cowboy Junkies, Hayden, Blue Rodeo, Limblifter, and Change of Heart. In the last year, Blurtonia have ripped up the stage
with Bis, Tragically Hip, Guided by Voices, Queens of the Stone Age, Mike Watt, ...and you will know us by the Trail of Dead,
and Danko Jones. In the last few years, frontman Ian Blurton has produced or recorded over 40 releases by artists such as
Tricky Woo, The Weakerthans, The Rheostatics and Tristan Psionic.
The current line-up is Randy Curnew on drums (also with The Swallows), Brendan Canning (of Broken Social Scene) on bass and
vocals, Al Kelso on guitar and vocals with song-writing credits, and frontman-guitarist-singer-songwriter-rocker Ian Blurton.
Original bass player Corinne Culbertson remains affiliated to the band. Original drummer Jon McCann and second bass player
Sam Demedeiros have moved on.
