In the 90s, in reaction to grunge, there evolved a synth-based prog/new wave band and theatrical live experience that became 'Arthur Ellis', named for our last executioner. With some urging from fans and friends, they reformed as Arthur Ellis 2000.
A successful trilogy of shows in 2000 led to the new 'Alphomega' CD.
Shannon Hallett returns to center stage as singer and persona channeller. She has performed in the Edinburgh Fringe, sung with Scottish space-rock act Sponge, Daytona and also plays with garage trio Shrimpmeat.
Guitar god Dave Shannon, blends with synth-master Peter 'Fish' Fisera's many keyboards. Fish also creates live ambient electronics as Koolatron.
On bass is Richard Fordham, also of the live improv funk/techno act Public Online Terminal (with Fish).
Beats are driven by Brad Mitchell, from the mighty Alternative Tentacles recording artists Facepuller.
