Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, this four-piece writes songs about loss, vanity, success, and failure. Hugo, Jesse, Mike and Andrew, who have all put in time with other local bands, decided one summer to show that they weren't afraid to share their experiences as the explored life's deep and varied emotions. The music is raw, it is loud, it rattles the bones. It reveals the intensity to which these four approach their daily lives. Recorded in 2005-2006, Random Orbital showcases the band's disgust, discovery and eventual concession of the human spirit. The sounds are harsh, abbrasive, melodic, smooth, and all at once real. Andrew sings of disappointment, Hugo shares his loss, Jesse pours his heart into his playing, and Mike keeps them all together and focused on the end goal: to rock-out interplanetary style. Their shows have included some great parties with bands like The Rest, The Maynards, Sailboats are White, Museum Pieces, Electroluminescent, The Building Press and of course our friend B.A. Johnston.
