After the Troops Leave...(ATTL) is a musical
formation from Ottawa, Ontario, which has emerged on
the local Ottawa scene following the the demise of
Sydney's Moon, which had been, up until very recently, the
primary musical vehicle for Kier and Graham for the last
three years. Matt Aston plays Drums and Mike Napiorkowski plays bass.
ATTL formed out an interest in focusing on the
potentialities of their music as a means of reflecting the
socio-political context which surrounds us, and to absorb
the nature of a world filled with violence and conflict
through music and through performance.
After the Troops Leave... operates from the understanding
that art is about the process of understanding and exploring
the struggle and pain of life, through the days which destroy
the night, and the nights which divide the days. Art is about
breaking through...
