I'm also a writer, and I'm currently looking for a lawyer to help me sue Robert Cooper, the producer of Stargate Atlantis, for failure to pay the agreed upon percentage for a number of core concepts of mine that he used in the series after a consultation with me. Believe it or not, truth is stranger than fiction, and details are on my website with more to come in a short film I'm making on the subject.
The agreed fee? 15-20% of any profits made by Cooper for ideas originating from his consultation with me.
American entertainment companies are ripping Canadian artists off everyday, and there is no real enforcement of multimillion dollar copyright law.
Not unusual, think about how many people are actually charged with hate speech laws compared to how much of that talk you hear everyday in Canada. …
