A Mighty Tugboat is the work of Steve Dumas - drums, Yuani Fragata - guitar, Philippe Lambert - bass, David Massicotte - guitar, Kevin Simard - guitar.
The complete line-up has been together since August 2001 when Steve joined, but the other four members had been playing and writing together since 1999.
Their debut recording, AMTbEP, is a collection of five songs that the band recorded in spring 2002.
Instrumental indie rock in all its glory. AMTb's music is hyper-melodic and energetic, without compromising tight songwriting in favour of instrumental noodling.
Pop music with a hard edge, carried by three singing guitars and a rhythm section as solid as steel.
