In the summer of 2003 S. Robertson took 2 weeks holidays and locked himself into the official Canada Lynx Records rehearsal space (the shockcenter) and produced a 20-song effort called “The Ocean Is Life” on a tascam 440 4-track recorder. The CD made a splash in Vancouver’s underground music scene and a band was born. The following 2 releases (Never wanted to be anyone and No Junk Mail Please)were done by a band going into a recording studio for a weekend and then mixed by Chris "2-sticks" Hobbs. Both CD's received national airplay and critical review from around the globe. With a regular gig called the Super Robertson Supper Show at the legendary Railway club In Vancouver B.C. (wednesdays 7:30-8:30 PM) Robertson has recorded the shows for the past 5 years, and a Live album is forthcoming in early 2010.
