Canada’s best kept secret is no longer that.
Ten Second Epic's most recent release ‘One More for the Road’ hit the shelves on May 1st on Farway Records, and already has started causing waves across North America. This is no more evident then in their hometown where to commemorate the release of the CD, the band played on the release date to a maximum capacity crowd of over 2000 people at Red’s in Edmonton. Not only that, but over 500 fans were left outside as the building could not support them. Proof that the growing fan base was striving considering their show at the same venue in October 2003 offered up an attendance of 1600. Furthermore, they verified their place in the Edmonton scene by winning SEE Magazine’s “Best Local Band” award in their Best of Edmonton 2004 edition.
Following the CD release show, TSE hit the road to tour North America in both May and June 2004. While the entire tour was a success, the stand out highlights included touring the Southwest United States with Drive Thru Records band Hellogoodbye and shows with such acclaimed acts as Alexisonfire (Equal Vision), Silverstein (Victory), and Emery (Tooth & Nail). In addition the band has graced the stage with such major Canadian acts such as Social Code (Interscope Records) and Belvedere (Union 2112). In July of 2004 they will be featured at the Calgary stop on the Vans Warped Tour.
