What is CBC Radio 3?

CBC Radio 3 is a digital music service designed to introduce audiences to new Canadian music.

Unlike traditional radio, CBC Radio 3 isn’t actually on your AM or FM dial.

Instead, we’re helping music fans discover Canadian music and artists through Sirius satellite radio, web radio, podcasts, blogs, social media tools, and our on-demand catalogue of music.

Another very unique aspect to CBC Radio 3 is that all the music you hear in our programming has been uploaded to our site by Canadian musicians – we truly are powered by the independent Canadian music community.

Beamed across North America on channel 152 of the Sirius Satellite Radio network, the station features artists from across Canada in multiple genres, including rock, pop, hip-hop, electronica, and alt-country.
