About RSS Feeds
So you've clicked on the link for RSS Feed, and you are probably thinking that there is something horribly wrong with this page. Fear not, and please read on.
If you want to understand RSS, don't go
here. The nerds who wrote this badly need their lunch money stolen. It will make you angry, because instead of explaining what RSS really means, it will most likely confuse you more, and that's not what you want. What you really want is a brief explanation of the concept, and directions on how to get started. You want this because RSS will increase your surfing efficiency by a factor of ten, and this is pretty cool.
In a nutshell, RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, allows you to keep abreast of recently published stories on multiple websites without actually visiting those sites in hope that there will be new postings since your last visit. Instead, an RSS Reader notifies you when new entries are posted.
You will have to spend a bit of time learning how the reader works, and then loading in the sites you visit, but in the end it's worth it - especially if you are the sort of person who compulsively visits a large number of sites throughout any given day.
In order to learn more about RSS, what it is, how it works, and what sort of RSS readers are available, you should probably just go
here. They'll fix you up.
