Working With Playlists

How Do I Make My Own Playlist?

The player automatically starts in Radio Mode when you arrive at Radio 3.

To start making your playlist, you first need to log in. If you don't have a profile, Become a Member.

How Do I Add Tracks to My Playlist?

Once you've logged in, just click on the plus [+] sign located beside any track on the site. You'll be prompted to select the playlist you'd like to add it to; click the name of the playlist you want, and the track will be added. Now hit the button marked "Playlist Mode", and the playlist chooser will again pop up. Click the name of the playlist, and your playlist will start playing.

How Do I Organize My Playlist?

Once you've logged in, you can edit your playlist from your user profile page - to get there, click on your user name (located on the left side, in the main navigation bar where the login area is located). Your playlists are shown right on your user page, below your bio information. Simply click the playlist you would like to edit. From here, you'll arrive at your playlist page, where you'll see the list of tracks you have chosen. This is where you can delete and reorder songs in your playlist.

How Do I Share Playlists?

A direct link to a playlist can be found in two locations:

  • :: At the top of a user's page, located where the name and description of the playlist is displayed.
  • :: When a playlist is actively playing, the permalink can be grabbed by opening the playlist chooser - the permalink is displayed below the close button.

How Do I Share Tracks in My Playlist?

To share a track click the envelope icon. A window will appear with the permalink. If you copy the link, and email it to someone they will be able to hear this track. Alternately, if you are currently listening to a playlist, you can view the permalink by selecting the down arrow to the right of the playlist button. This will open up the playlist chooser, where you can see the name of the playlist and copy the permalink.
