How to Create and Upload Music

We're open to all kinds of sounds, but no graphic violence, hate propaganda, discrimination, stealing someone else's work (using copyrighted materials), cover songs, or songs about talking sock puppets, please.

Be a Member

Make sure you have created an artist profile. If you haven't done this yet, click the sign up link on the left side of this page and we'll get started. Once you’ve signed up, edit your artist profile page and start adding tracks.

Acceptable Digital Formats

Make sure you’re uploading minimum 128 kbps MP3 or WAV files.

How to get played on the Radio

To get your music played on CBC Radio 3, you need to send a copy of your CD & presskit to James Booth, our Music Director at this address:

If you are a Canadian artist, we also recommend that you sign up a band profile on this site. (You need to sign up if you wish to be played on the CBC Radio 3 podcasts).
