Perez Hilton has himself become the subject of blogs around the globe after accusing the Black Eyed Peas'
Will.I.Am and his security guards of assault in Toronto.
Hilton says the altercation took place at 3 a.m. at Toronto's
SoHo Met Hotel, after last night's
MuchMusic Video Awards festivities.
Hilton tweeted to fans, asking them to call police - and dozens did, some from as far away as China. in later tweets, he reported that he was punched and bleeding.
According to Toronto police, who could not name names, the victim suffered minor injuries, and a man was arrested and charged following the incident.
