As well

Twitter and
facebook, I have signed up for all kinds of other things that
keep me in touch with the world. I usually forget I've signed up, but then out
of the blue comes my
Goop newsletter from
Gwyneth Paltrow. Strangely, I almost
started today's blog post exactly the way she started her message:
One day, when being treated by an acupuncturist, a Spanish friend who was visiting me in London walked into the room and remarked that I looked like a bull who'd had a run in with the picadors.
Whew,
good thing I checked my inbox. How embarrassing that would have been.
So let
me start again... today is Fresh Friday, the day I get to play for the first time
a bunch of new adds to the
Radio 3 rotation. I was going to draw a connection
between the excellent accuracy of my acupuncturist and music producer
Mark
Macarthur, but of course you know Mrs Coldplay stole my thunder.
I'll
just say that it's going to be a great show.
