This week, a special episode peeled from the Trans Canada Highway.
Dan Moxon – the creative brain behind Bend Sinister – takes
his camera with him every time the band ventures out, and R3TV is all the
luckier for it.
For over a year, Moxon has been chipping away on a
documentary on what it means to tour Canada. A pretty big topic to
tackle, but Dan is dedicated to his idea - and countless hours of musician
interviews (in bathrooms, back rooms, and over bacon and eggs) start to weave
together some sort of narrative on gigging this hulking nation.
So while Dan puts together the actual documentary, we here
at R3TV asked him to loan us a small preview to share with you. Featuring appearances
from Woodhands, Wax Mannequin, B.A. Johnston and more, this week’s episode
salutes the indie heroes of the highways who give it their all, whether there’s
one or one hundred in the club.
