Here's something we've never done before: shine a light on Abbotsford, BC.

To be honest, we're not really qualified, so Becky Ninkovic and Stephen O'Shea of You Say Party! We Say Die!, (our Abbotsford-ologists) are using their turn at the mic to tell you a little bit about their home town, and the DIY music and culture scene that sprung up there despite the lack of sanctioned venues.

    I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia and have been teaching in Korea for the last 3 months... I was pretty sad to hear how awesome the Halifax Pop-explosion was this year and that I'd be missing it. Sad I missed seeing you, YSP!WSD! Thank some god for this website. Keep it up sex panthers!
